My Question or Issue
Hi guys, like many others. I've gotten the notorious "Can't play the current song" message.
I have tried reinstalling, turning off hardware acceleration, turning it back on. Etc you name it, it will just randomly fail on random songs. Hitting back and replaying sometimes eventually works, but it's annoying as I just want it to autoplay without getting stuck.
Solved! Go to Solution.
I solved it by going to
Spotify > Preferences > Advanced Settings > Offline Songs Storage
Then I went to that location and cleared out that cache.
Worked like a charm since.

(Hardware Acceleration OFF)
Tracks would not advance to next, w/ blue banner error. This worked for me:
Enable Crossfade and set to 0 sec
