[Desktop][Other] Disable Autostart on Mac

After booting the Mac, the Spotify App for Mac will start even though the automatic start for the Spotify App is disabled.

I am using the Spotify App with the version number 1.1.21.1654.g282a2807.

It is very annoying that the app "does what it want". I hope there will be a solution for this problem/ bug in a next version of the Spotify App for Mac soon.

Hey @SZ199, welcome to the Community.

Hope you're doing great!

Set it to No in Spotify Settings then follow these steps:

1. Go to System Preferences
2. Enter inside Users & Groups
3. Select Login Items and click the + sign
4. Add Spotify app from the Applications folder
5. Log out then log back in
6. Go to that same place on step 3 but instead remove the Spotify app this time

After that it should no start on its own anymore.
