Discover weekly playlist not updating

I'm having trouble with my discover weekly playlist, it's stopped updating every week and I don't know how to fix it. It's been a month now with the same songs and won't update. Please help!

Hey @thylong, welcome to the communnity!

 

That's a long time, it's odd.  Before I pass on the info, can you make sure that you're not in Private session and have been listening for a couple of weeks at least? Also, are you following your DW playlist? Try unfollowing and following it back and see if that helps 🙂

 

If none of this works, can you pass me the Spotify URL of your DW to add that in the info to pass on?

my DW didn't update since 10th of oktober.

I tried unfollowing/following, logout on my phone and laptop, reinstall, none of this changed something..

I did follow/unfollow last week, I'm not in private session and I've been listening for about 2 weeks now (my account was inactive for frw months).

As the discover playlist is an important feature of the Spotify service, I'd really like to benefit of it ^^

Hey there @thylong, I passed on your info but it seems like your DW was updated a couple hours ago. Do you still see it un-updated? Try logging out and back in to shake things up.

One more thing, the artists below the "daily mix 1" for example, are always the same.
I don't know if the description is to be the same everyday.

My DW playlist still hasn't updated. Looking for some help!

Thanks for reaching out 🙂 Please make sure that you've been streaming regularly in your account (at least a couple of weeks), though not while being in Private Session. However, streams from your Discover Weekly playlist don't count towards setting your next week's Discover Weekly.

My "Discover Weekly" has been updated today, thanks.

But the "Daily mix" always have the same base artists. Is this a normal behavior?

Glad to hear your Discover Weekly playlist was updated! As for Daily Mixes, they work differently than Discover Weekly. While your DW playlist updates once every week, the Daily Mixes evolve gradually with your listening. You can check more info on how they work by checking this support article.

Hi there - My discover weekly playlist also did not refresh this morning (I've un-installed and re-installed the app, confirmed that I am/have not been listening in private session mode, restarted app & computer, logged out/in multiple times).
