Do you really need this much space on screen?

Would the amount of space you give to Joe Rogans podcast image not be better used to show the actual podcast list? Being able to view a list of 2 (maybe 3 depending on description) is an awful design feature and hugely frustrating. 

It also sucks that you can't disable the video in the podcast.

Can you please maybe looking at these pretty horrible design decisions.
