Embedded podcast will not play using Safari on Macbook

My Question or Issue

When embedding an episod of my pod on a website it works awesome, except wen using Safari on my Macbook. If I do use chrome on the same it works just fine. I am assume it is a bug or is there some sort of workaround?

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Currently we're unaware of any issues, that may stop the playing of embedded podcasts using a Safari browser. That's why we'd need you to test out a few troubleshooting steps so we can narrow down the root cause.

Could you clear the cache and the cookies of the Safari browser and try an incognito window? Did the podcast start playing? On that note, is it a particular podcast or podcasts in general?

Have you tried a different network connection or a different Apple device with a Safari browser?

did you try removing the loading="lazy" from the embed code? that fixed it for me.
