Error upon start up. Can't update to new version either.

Description

This error whenever I start up Spotify. Not sure what this is but I would like to fix it. I dont know where to find plug in page so I could delete all plug ins. I have tried re-installing Spotify but still does the same thing. Must be a setting somewhere in my account?

Upon start up, I am greeted with this error box.

Normally it should be possible to uninstall this plug-in the same way as you uninstall any other program.

You can also dowload the program cccleaner. it's a safe and very usefull program. It will do the job for you.

Thank you for your reply. I ran CCleaner on my Mac but it still has the same problem. I remember a few versions of Spotify ago I had installed a lyrics reader plug in. However I can't find any plug ins page on Spotify anymore. So I dont know how to delete such plug in.

Hello again,

With cccleaner you can do a full clean uninstall of Spotify, which will remove all the files linked with Spotify

After that you will have to reinstall Spotify. Normally that should fix the problem.
