Facility To Make Individual Tracks Offline Within A Playlist

I've got loads of playlists comprising of tracks where on average I can find about 80% of them on Spotify so I have to complete the playlists with the remaining 20% using mp3 tracks that I own and making them 'local files' and then setting them to offline, dragging them to the relevant playlist etc. I can't finda facility to make individual tracks offline - only the entire playlist. What's the point of this when the majority of them don't need to be offline? Subsequently my new iPad is getting full up with offline music unecessarily. I'm baffled as to why there isn't the option to make indivudual tracks within a playlist offline. Surely that's one of the main ideas of the offline facility?

An extreme example of this is one dance mix playlist I have that consists of 52 songs; 50 of which I've found on Spotify but not 2 of them. I've got these two as mp3s which I could set to offline if I could. But I can't. I have to set the entire playlist - 52 songs - offline. Crazy!
