My Question or Issue

Recently my phone gave me a notification that Spotify has rolled out the 'family mix' feature in the Netherlands. I clicked the 'listen now' button and I got taken to the 'made for you' page, but not the family mix. I tried to search in the search bar, tried to look in the made for you page, clicked the link in the help article on the Spotify website (which takes me to a page that never loads). I have also tried leaving and joining the family and reinstalling Spotify. None of these things seem to work. My dad, the main account of the family, can't join or find the family mix either. How can I still use this feature? It seems like a nice picture, but every way I can think of making it work seems to not work for me...

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out to the community. You will have to join the family mix to be able to access it. Please follow the steps below

Step 1: You will need to go to your overall profile. Here is the link: https://www.spotify.com/us/account/overview/
Step 2: Then go and click on Premium Family on the left columns
Step 3: Scroll down and click Join Family Mix, once you have joined, your family mix should now work.

Thanks for your answer. In the left column there is no such thing as ‘premium family’ however, so unfortunately it did not help.

Hi there. Did you try doing both of your devices? Mac and iPhone? You should be able to find "Premium Family" on the left column if you are a member that is part of a Family Plan. Also, are you part of a Family Plan? The Family Playlist Mix only works for those who have a Family Plan.

Yes I am part of a family. I also tried the same steps on my dad's account and he does have the 'premium family' button. When I click that I get a page showing the people in the family account but no option to turn on/join the family mix however. On my iPhone I don't get the option of premium family either.

Hi there. To fix this issue you will need to contact Customer Service. Customer Service is *snip - star edit* and they should help fix your problems. They reply within 24-48 hours. I hope they can help you! Have a wonderful day.
