Favorite artists

I think this has probably been posted before, but I don't have time to read through everything right now. What I would like instead of "recently played" artists if we could hand select our top favorite artists. That way people who look get a better idea of the type of music you listen to.

The problem I have with "recently played" artist's is sometimes I'm listening to a playlist, or I just want to sample an artist work, kind of like broadening my tastes without wasting money on an ablum I may potentially hate. But these artist I may sample one or two songs from doesn't describe my normal taste in music...nor does describe my taste if I happen to only like one or two songs by an artist. However I do have arstist I know I love. And would love desplay those on my account rather than the ones I've "recently played".
