Friends Can't See What I'm listening to

I already turned on all the settings for friends to see me on the sidebar yet they still cannot.  I even have premium.  Can someone please help?

Hey i'm Edd,

Your friends should be able to see what your listening to if they are following you on Spotify and if they have the right sidebar turned on (Turn on/off under display settings). One more thing to take into account is that it takes time for Spotify to sync with the servers so it may take 5-10 minutes for Spotify to sync with other users.
