Getting Itunes Playlist into Spotify?

Hi all,  I'm new here and on Spotify, so hope I'm asking the right question in the right place.  

I have several Itunes playlists on my Macbook Air which I would love to import into Spotify which I also run on the Air.  I understand that via Spotify I'll only be able to hear the songs that they have in their libraries.  That's fine.  But rather than manually typing every song title/artist into the Browse section and then clicking the "add to playlist" button, is there a more efficient way to bring in the titles as a group? 

I read some older comments from this community, including a comment that said to go to File, Import, Playlists but when I go to file I see New Playlist or New Playlist Folder -- neither of which work.  

There must be a way, right?

Unfortunately, Spotify has apparently removed this very important feature in the current version.
