Grey bar on the top of the screen in mac full screen mode

This grey bar has been terrorising my spotify for the past year, i have been hoping that updates would fix this bug, but around 5 updates have come and gone and this problem is still here... please fix this asap, its getting increasingly annoying with every passing day.

The same thing happens to me and its so frustrating because im full on OCD and cant help NOT seeing that grey bar. As far as i remember, last year that awful thing wasnt there.

It's not a perfect solution, but I've started creating a second desktop page using Mission Control and then making the Spotify window as big as possible there - without entering full screen. That way, you can still easily switch back and forth between Spotify and your main desktop page, without the annoyance of the gray bar!
