Growl No Longer Working

As of Spotify 1.0.2.6.g9977a14b, Growl 2.1.3 no longer works on OSX Yosemite 10.10.2

Anyone having the same issue, is there a fix?

Spotify dropped the method which Growl used to show messages. Since it's been months after it stopped working I personally got no hope for it to return. To me the messages are a big part of the experience in everyday listening (change the song before I need to listing to it to identify it, being in control of your music during everyday work). I'm changing to Apple Music momentarily which does show notifications like we were used to with Growl and Spotify in the past. Hoping to get the notifications back in Spotify!!!
