How can I download albums for offline listening

Hello,

how can I download music on the Mac Desktop application to listen to it offline. I can only find this feature for playlists.

Downloading for offline listening is limited to playlists on the desktop app. It's not currently possible to download podcasts, albums or features like the Daily Mix or radio. 
You can find out more for about offline listening here. There's also a live suggestion in the Ideas board that might be of interest to you.

Good news!

A new desktop app update with a new design is currently rolling out to all users. One of the new features is the ability to download albums and podcasts just like you can in the mobile app.
