My Question or Issue

I want to remove "Import your music from other apps" button. I don't have any other music apps. It's taking up space in already cluttered User Interface.

Hey there @gandalfar,

Thanks for reaching out.

We can confirm there isn't a way to remove this button at the moment. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us though, and will make sure to pass it on to the relevant teams as this feature is still being tested.

The Community will be here if anything else comes up.

Cheers!

It’s basically an ugly permanent advertisement for tunemymusic. I’m never going to use this feature but it’s placed at the very top in the most intrusive way possible

Please fix this, and remove that button. As gandalfar said, its taking up valuable real estate in an already cluttered interface. Keep in mind we are paying every month for this service. Thanks in advance. As for the rest of the interface and I am happy, please don't change any more, it's already quite optimal 🙂

This really is exactly the thing I expected to see from Spotify. How hard could it have been to make this message hideable when the user wants to. Either through an easy clos option (like an "X") or thorugh the settings. Anyway, just one more reason to finally switch to Apple Music.

As much as I enjoy the Spotify experience, I am getting tired of added "features" like this that seem to get randomly added without any regard for its customers. I pay extra for my Premium account. I don't subscribe to ANY other music services. So I don't need a button that takes up space on my phone's screen to import my music into Spotify. As a paying customer I expect to have the option available to turn this feature off.
