I got the student discount but now it's making me enter my credit card info again

I signed up for premium and then it asked me to verify if I was a student which I did and $5.29 was taken out of my account. Well when I got the confirmation email that I was an eligible student it's asking me to put my card info back in and I don't want to pay twice. What's going on?
