I've subscribed to Premium Individual and am still getting ads

I am getting ads and also the Calm app telling me to breathe - lol. Very frustrating. Have logged out and in and no difference.

Same here. Can’t talk to anyone. Makes it worthwhile to go to another platform

Sorry to hear that you're getting ads even when you've subscribed to Premium.


In order to investigate what might be causing this, can you give us a bit more info:

  • Are you getting ads between songs or only in podcasts?
  • Are you getting ads on every device - mobile, PC etc.?
  • What does the account status say when you log in to your Account page on the web? Does it say Premium Individual or Spotify free?

Note that it's possible that your payment hasn't gone through and the sum was automatically refunded to your bank account. If that's the case, your account is still on Spotify free and you can check this support article for more help with failed payments.
