ITunes Playlists OPTIONS NOT WORKING

I clicked on the links in the Spotify help page for transferring my iTunes playlists to Spotify. The XML file of iTunes playlists didn't work with Ivy. The other options are very confusing. It appears that some of my iTunes playlists do appear on Spotify, but not all, and I don't know why.

Could anyone please tell me how to get my playlists into Spotify

Using a Macbook Air and Yosemite OS here.
