Issue where Spotify returns to the top of the site when going back

Starting about 2 weeks ago, Spotify changed where when I'm browsing an artist or playlist and hit the back button to go back to the previous page, the page scroll automatically goes all the way to the top. It's really annoying because sometimes I'm halfway down an artist's page with a lot of albums and then Spotify loses my spot, and I have to scroll all the way down in order to continue browsing where I initially was. It previously would return to the last place I left off on the page. This occurs on the desktop version on a Mac. I've uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. Other people have reported this issue as well.
