Jump to song now playing is no longer working

Device: iMac 27-inch, Late 2012

OS: macOS Mojave 10.14.4

Issue: I used to be able to click on the miniature album cover image shown in the lower left corner of the player, just above the title of the current song, and the player would jump to that song within the playlist. As of late, this no longer functions correctly. Clicking on the album image now causes the player to jump to the wrong song.

I've tried a variety of sort orders and the result is the same. Please fix this issue. It's very convenient to be able to locate the currently playing song in the playlist it's assigned to if I want to delete it or add it to another playlist.

(By the way, I can click on the song title below the album image but that jumps to the song in the actual album that the song original appeared on, not the song's location in the playlist currently playing.)
