Just a thought about Spotify desktop

I started paying the premium the moment I could (I was a student before) just because I thought Spotify was the kind of idea that had to exist and it just needed some support to become what it is nowadays.

A minute ago I realised whenever I want to listen to a song, I don't open spotify, but youtube. Why? Because the desktop app takes more than 30 secs to get opened. It actually opens in less than 5 sec, but it doesn't let you search (properly) until it's loaded a big bunch of stuff (the browse tab) which takes ages.

Could you guys fix this so I can search and ignore the browse stuff or is this tab a way to get some income?

Welcome at the Spotify Community! 

Have you already to tried to logout and login afterwards? Sometimes something simple as this already fixes the problem.

You may also try to fix it by reinstalling Spotify. To do that, please follow the steps in the link below:

Wow, it actually fixed it. I had truned it off and on but I had never fixed a speed issue by logout and in again :-S
