List programming failure always brings me back to the top of every Spotifylist

When going through any kind of Spotify list, I often want to check out the artists/songs progile, album, etc and then go back to the list again. 

But then of course to the track/place where I was (like Spotify used to be programmed) and not like now....ALWAYS back to the top of the list.

It drives me crazt to try to find my way back to where I was in the list. Why have you done such a basic programming mistake? Or is it made on purpose...and if so, why?
