My Question or Issue

I've had this issue with local files downloaded from my mac not turning up on my iPhone. I've done everything suggested on all the solved posts or troubleshooting post - I've done clean reinstalls of spotify on both my MacBook and my iPhone. I've ensured all files are mp3. Local storage is allowed for both desktop and iPhone. I turned on download/offline listening for the playlist in question but none of the local files will turn up on my iPhone. I can see that while I've marked the playlist for offline listening, and other songs on the list have downloaded with the arrow beside them, the songs in question just. won't? They never get that download arrow beside them even though it says the list is completed. It's gotten me pretty frustrated because I seem to have done literally every troubleshooting guide for this that I can repeatedly but with no positive outcome. I've got spotify premium, I've moved the files, ensured theyre the right format, I've got like 79.9Gb open storage remaining, I've moved the files around, etc etc etc.

The songs play without issue on my laptop, and if I connect device they register on my iPhone but then instantly disappear after i stop playing them on my laptop or disconnect from the same internet source. And even when connected they still don't turn up on the playlist in question. It's getting beyond frustrating.

Hi there @Emily6049,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome!

To confirm, have you tried syncing the files while using a different Internet connection, like a mobile hotspot?

Additionally, could you let us know where did you obtain the local files from?

Keep us posted.
