Logging into app

For about a week now, I have not been able to get past the login screen on the spotify app on my MacBook. I log in with the correct username and password and it gets stuck, appearing to be loading, but never opens my library. I have tried: uninstalling and reinstalling the app, updating the app, updating my iOS, restarting my computer, resetting my password, logging out of all accounts, and clearing my cache.

Just to confirm, did you follow these steps when reinstalling the app? Those are very thorough and can help removing any corrupted files that might be causing trouble.

 

If that doesn't make any difference, make sure that Spotify is whitelisted in your firewall. If you're using a VPN, try disabling it.

 

If the issue persists, can you let us know if you can log in to your account in the web player?
