Mac OS 11.6.2 Big Sur - desktop app freezes with black blank screen on startup

My Question or Issue

Desktop app freezes with black blank screen on startup. I've tried deleting app and reinstalling it, doesn't work. The only thing that gets the app to load is launching Activity Monitor and quitting the Spotify Helper (Renderer).

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

We understand you've already reinstalled the app, could you please do it one more time but following these steps? They are more thorough than a regular reinstall and can be helpful to get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble. 

If the issue persists after that, try disabling your Firewall and check if that makes a difference.
