Mac OSX 10.5.8

I got Spotify in November of 2012, and it worked perfectly fine.

Last week, I was forced to "quit" Spotify, and as I restarted it, it sent an error report and would not open. (This is because when you shut it down, it automatically updates itself, but my computer is too old!!!!)

So, I got an older version of Spotify: 0.8.3.222.g317ab79d

It works okay, but I used to be able to see the facebook activity on the right, and the songs that I play do not appear as playing in the bottom left, it shows only the first song that I played.

Is there a newer, but not as new as the 8.4 version of Spotify that I can download that will work on my Mac OSX 10.5.8???

As you are aware, Spotify no longer Supports OSX 10.5.x , but rest assured there is a solution here.
