[Mac] Song skips forward when switching source

Hello ! I have noticed quite a few times now that when I switch the playing source of Spotify from either the app on my iPhone 8 or the Chrome web player to my macOS Spotify app, the song will skip forward. For example, my friend will send me a link to a song that will open in the Chrome web player, I'll be maybe 6 or 7 seconds in and switch it to the application and it'll continue playing at 52 seconds in. Has this happened to anyone else?

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

Also make sure you have installed macOS Mojave 10.14.6 🙂
