[Mac] Spotify Won't Sync With Local Files

I have an issue with Spotify in that when I tried to transfer over a song from my PC to my Mac, the song changes in that the length of the song is shortened by a second on Spotify. The song is normally 5:29, and it shows on iTunes on my Mac as well as on Spotify on my PC, but when the file is being read through Spotify Mac, it shows up as 5:28. This leads to the file not syncing up with the rest of my devices. The screenshot below shows the file that should show up on the top, and the file that shows on Spotify Mac on the bottom.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

Could you give the steps here a go and perform a clean reinstall of the app on your Max?  They are more thorough than a regular reinstall and make sure that no corrupted files remain that might be the reason for such behavior. You should also remove all playlists with imported file and start the whole process from scratch using the instructions in this guide.
