Mac desktop client showing password as username

Hello,

I signed up for a free account, and when using the Mac desktop client (2015 Macbook Pro 15", High Sierra (10.13.6)), it displays my password where the username should be.   Also, it does not accept my username when logging in; I must use my email address, which I signed up with.

In searching the forum for others with the same problem, the response has been that the user must have mistakenly entered his password in the nickname field, but that is definitely not true in my case.

I have the same problem and definitely I did not enter my password as username, because it is simply impossible.
