Main 'frame' appears but zero content will load

Hi guys,

So, Spotify will load up (or appear to) on my MacBook Pro (OS X 10.9.5), but none of the actual music content displays. I can see the side bar on the left with all of my playlists and the 'Now Playing' bar at the bottom, but the main window remains black with the spinning 'loading' circle, no matter what I try to do or click on. A while back it seemed like I had to manually search for an artist and then click on them after first loading Spotify, which would clear the issue, but now, nothing works at all.

This on top of the fact that the new Spotify seems to have crippled my Mac, plus the fact that I've been a paying customer for years, is not making me very happy.

Any help or suggestions?!
