Missing add to playlist text filter search

Device: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)

Operating System: OSX Big Sur 11.2.2

Apologies in advance if this issue has already been picked up, I couldn't find it anywhere. Since the most recent major update to the new interface (1.1.58.820.g2ae50076-a) when hovering over the menu item "Add to playlist", I am no longer unable to search by text string by typing whilst in the menu. I am not sure if this is a bug or a missed feature from the update. This is a huge pain as I have hundreds of playlists, and this was a quick way of searching for the correct one to add it to.

There's currently an idea about this - [All Platforms][Playlists] Search among my playlists on "add to Playlist". You can leave a +VOTE and Subscribe to the thread for any updates.

Hi, thank you for getting back to me, although this is similar to what you linked, it's not a feature request, as I said, the functionality existed before, but it was lost in the latest update. I'm trying to find out whether it will be fixed or reinstated.

Good news! You can now search again when adding songs to playlists! Full details here

New in desktop app version 1.1.89.858 (and Web Player). This was also added to the mobile app a while back.

• You can now search the "Add to Playlist" menu using the search bar at the top
