Hi, since 2 days the music does not play on my desktop of MacBook Air. I have re-installed the app according to the guidelines provided by Spotify but it still does not work. I can play music via the web player of Spotify but not via the app on my desktop. Although the song does play there is no sound coming from my laptop. All my other devices work just fine.

On the Spotify app, down over near Play/Pause there is a volume slider. Have you checked if yours is turned up? Can you try connecting the app to another speaker?
If you connect headphones on your laptop, can you hear something?
What's you OS version?
Do you get any error message on the app?
