For all the songs I have listened I can't find the micro icon to view lyrics of the song. It works fine with my iPhone. Kindly advice. Thanks.

There is no matter with your account, Spotify has no official lyrics, just some pop songs has behind lyrics with genius.

This is not a feature that is currently in the Mac desktop app. But you can always vote and follow the idea thread located here for it to be added.
