My local files won’t play

My local files won’t play

I uploaded a few audio files as part of my local files and every time I go play one I get a message saying “Spotify can’t play this right now. If you have the file on your computer you can import it” my files are all on my iCloud Drive so I don’t know if this affects it in any way.

Hi @paoacosta_01!

 

Local files have to be stored on your hard drive / SSD in order to run properly. Could you try changing the local files' source folder to a different one to see if that does the trick?

To access your local files on your mobile device, you must be logged into the same Spotify account on both your PC and your phone or tablet. This is because your files are only synced to the account you were logged into on your PC when you added them to Spotify.
