My spotify is very slow, and sometimes I can't even play songs.

My Question or Issue:
I've installed and reinstalled Spotify, I have also tried other solutions provided by other users on this platform but I still have issues with Spotify. When I open it opens very slowly, then it takes a very long time to even respond to mouse interactions. 

This is a screenshot of the song album artwork and buttons a minute after I clicked on play song. 

When I try to play music I just end up using the online player or my phone because Spotify on my mac is just a pain.

What should I do?

Could try using Sign Out Everywhere and Remove Offline devices options from your Spotify account?

To improve perfomance try disabling Hardware Acceleration. You can do that from the Spotify option in the Menu Bar next to the .

Also, try updating to macOS Mojave 10.14.6 as it's the latest version currently available, until Apple unveils tomorrow when the new version, macOS 10.15 Catalina will become available.
