Need help - ASAP! Spotify Connect

I have a graduation party in 6 hours and I have spent the past 4 hours trying to get my Spotify Connect to work!!

Both my iPhone and my MacBook Air are on the same Wi-Fi Network but my phone doesn't see my Mac!

Brand Spanking New MacBook Air

Connect hasn't yet been rolled out to PCs I'm afraid.

Where does it say that? It doesn't say it's not Mac Compatible.

It says it is available on iOS and android. It doesn't mention OSx or Windows devices. There's a post here indicating that it is coming for desktops but there's been no more since then. There's also an idea to which there has been no official response.
