New UI breaks keyboard navigation

The old UI allowed me to navigate forward and back on the keyboard using Option + [Left|Right] Arrow. The new UI - in addition to many other unwanted changes - broke the ability to navigate with my keyboard. I've tried all the old combos listed on Spotify support, as well as a complete clean reinstall, but nothing works. With all the new changes, plus the loss of keyboard navigation, I will certainly be on the hunt for a more user-friendly music streaming service if Spotify doesn't incorporate some of the old features.
