No Audio

Plan: Premium 10+ years.

O/S:  Mac Catalina - up to date

Spotify:  Up to date

Prior Problems:  None


No audio.  Performed all the normal trouble-shooting to include hardware checks (the audio path for directly connected headphones, Bluetooth and USB external DAC all worked in all other applications).  Deinstalled and cleanly reinstalled Spotify.  Reverified that audio out for all other applications work but still not for Spotify.  Surfed the community forums to no avail. 


After an hour of frustration, I looked down at the bottom of the Spotify client and discovered the volume bar in the lower right-hand corner was at minimum and muted.  Jeez....  How it got that way is a mystery as it was not intentionally done. Must have been an unconscious fluke on my part while adjusting the volume of the external headphones.  Duh....


Hope this helps somebody.  Simple to overlook, really.
