Now Playing widget is buggy: previous song grayed out, seek times do not match

My Question or Issue

Sometimes previous song button in the Now Playing widget is grayed out even though there are songs before that one. I don't know the exact steps to reproduce but it happened to me when I search for a song in a playlist and play it, then play another song in another playlist.

Another issue is that sometimes the music seems like it continues to be played even though it is stopped. Therefore, the seek bar goes to forever in the Now Playing widget even though there are no songs playing in the Spotify app.

Reinstalling the Spotify does not fix the issue.

Could you give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall? This one is more thorough than the usual one.

If possible, it's a good idea to try on another device to check if anything changes. Does the issue occur when you try with the web player?

In case nothing changes, we'd suggest you also try running the app in a safe mode.
