My Question or Issue

VERY frustrating. After Mac OS update, I could not play any songs on my mac os app. On the browser or Iphone it was ok.

Tried to fix that by re-installing the app. Not when I try to log in I get this error. I have tried 4 different wifi networks and also using cellular data on hotspot. EVERYTIME I get the SAME error. Please help!

Hey @forattini,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Have you tried logging in with your account on a different device connected to the same networks? This way we can exclude network related issues.

Also check your hosts file on the Mac for entries, that contain "Spotify" and remove them, as this may also hinder the connectivity.

If you're using a VPN - turn it off. Make sure, that Spotify is set as an exception in the firewall settings on the device.

Let us know how that went,

Cheers!
