Just to confirm, does this occur only on your Mac desktop? If so, we'd first recommend trying a quick reinstall of the app. To do so, you can follow the steps provided in this support site article.

We'd also suggest taking a look at this support site article for more info and troubleshooting steps regarding your downloads.

If that doesn't do the trick, any additional details would be helpful so we can take a closer look, for example:

• Does this happen only on a WiFi or 3G/4G connection, or both?
• The version of the Spotify app you're on
• Your device and its OS version
• Any screenshots of what you see. However, make sure that no private or sensitive info is displayed.
