Play/Pause + Last/Next Track media keys stopped working

Device: Macbook Pro late 2016, 13-in, 2016

Operating System: macOS Catalina V. 10.15.3

My Question or Issue

I've been using the Spotify desktop app for a while and suddenly the play/pause and next/last track buttons stopped working. I tried playing something on Music (the new iTunes) and the keys didn't work there either. Anyone knows how to fix this issue?
