Playback stops every time an ad tries to play

Plan: Free, Australia

Device: iMac 24-inch, M1, 2021

Operating System: mac OS Ventura 13.3.1 (a)


My Question or Issue:

Every time an ad goes to play, playback stops. It cannot be resumed from the play button at the bottom of the desktop app. Instead I have to manually restart play by going into the queue and then clicking play on the ad listed under 'now playing' where the ad will play then continue playing songs from the queue. Play continues uninterrupted until another ad is reached in the queue.

Sounds like there might be some issue with the app or app data. Run a clean reinstall of the app, following this guide step by step. 


If the issue continues, please send us a short video recording of the issue, so that we can investigate further.


Note that you have to keep the add in focus and not close the app while it's running.
