Playlist doesn't stretch to full resolution of monitor

On my work mac Spotify doesn't seem to stretch the playlist columns as I adjust the size of the window.  Please see attached image.  This also happens on my PC desktop at home.  The zoom-in, zoom-out feature doesn't "fix" this either.

There's a possibility that Spotify cannot support the stretching because of your screen resolution and what the specifications the monitor is.
