Playlist images not showing on desktop

My Question or Issue

I tried adding a photo to a playlist by clicking the playlist image. The photo appears when viewing on my phone, but the desktop version shows the default icon:

 . Also, when I do a search, none of the artist photos come up . Does anyone know how to solve this?

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps. I'd also recommend updating to macOS Mojave 10.14.2 🙂 

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

This is probably an issue with loading up the spotify application it could be many things but one thing to do for sure is to make sure your application is up to date
