How can I change the playlist pictures?

Using the most updated version of the app for desktop, simply mouse over the picture it automatically provides, or click on the title of the plylist to reveal an options menu. Click on the picture, and it will ask you for a new file to upload for the picture. This will not work if the playlist was not created by you. Good luck!
