Playlist re-shuffles when I switch device

My Question or Issue

Whenever I'm listening to a playlist on shuffle then switch the device, I keep listening to the same song but the queue re-shuffles, which means that songs may be repeated.

Is there a way to prevent this?

I just tested it right now, listening to a playlist on Desktop, I also had spotify web opened, and my android phone using spotify as well. They were all connected and were able to see the same queue, but whenever I changed devices the queue was altered.
