My Question or Issue

While listening on my Mac book, I get  multiple tabs that pop up repetatively for ads for Nexxuss a hair product even if I am not clicking on any ads. It is very annoying as every time I try to close the tab another one opens up and the ad can trigger as many as ten tabs to open up one after the other. How do I make this stop?
