Hello-
I thought that this problem was fixed around 3 weeks ago. See the previous thread at https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Mac/Cannot-Configure-Mac-Desktop-Mac-Black-Window/td-p/5221...
Synopsis: A few days ago the Spotify app started opening with a totally black window. Deleting the user prefs file in my Library/Application Support/Spotify folder fixes it but only temporarily. The next time I open Spotify after booting my Mac the issue reoccurs.
A post to the previous thread that appeared after I labeled it "resolved" suggests that Spotify needs Mac users to upgrade to Big Sur.
I plan on upgrading sooner than later but I am wondering if there is a way to fix this issue without upgrading. . .
