Question about canceling subscription due to Joe Rogan podcast

Question about canceling subscription due to Joe Rogan podcast

Heya - has anyone canceled their Spotify account in the past few days?  I'm wondering if there's an exit survey where you have the option to explain WHY you're canceling.

I just canceled our family subscription because of Joe Rogan and they did ask why I was canceling. I chose the “Other” option and I typed in my reason for canceling.

Hi there @onlyshallow,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

At this moment, there's no exit survey. However we're always looking to improve.

If you think this feature will appeal to other users you can always create an idea on the relevant idea board. We always take new ideas and feedback into consideration to improve the app.

Let us know if we can help you with anything else.

Take care!

Thank you amom28 - I've canceled as well on an individual account and can confirm this is correct.

I prefer to keep podcast and music content separate, since I have different reasons for listening to each.  Podcast content in the app is an annoyance rather than a convenience for me.

Looks like Tidal is the same price, will import my playlists, pays artists more and has more music....  AI is probably not as good yet but guess we'll see.

If you're interested in improving, start with dumping Joe Rogan

Im still with spotify because I love it.. but if Joe is still on in a few weeks.. Im gone.

At this point, I can confirm that Tidal's algorithm is surprisingly better than Spotify's - by my definition.  Song-based radio stations are much less repetitive and more interesting.
